SU « Pâtisserie Paris » is a pastry shop tucked into a quiet corner of Le Marais, offering a refined twist on Japanese-inspired sweets. Located at 15 Rue Volta, this spot draws in those with a sweet tooth who appreciate delicate flavors and visually thoughtful presentation rather than overpowering sweetness.

Inside, the décor is artistic and minimal, with a handful of seats that make it a cozy stop rather than a sprawling café. It’s an inviting space for a quick break — perfect for a mid-afternoon treat or a low-key celebration. The staff tend to be warm and attentive, adding a personal touch that makes even a simple visit feel welcomed; one guest noted how a birthday candle was freely provided, highlighting the friendly atmosphere here.

The menu leans on subtlety and balance, featuring items like the Roulé Green Tea Matcha and the Gâteau Thé Oolong Pêche Blanche, which reflect a careful interplay of flavors uncommon in typical Parisian patisseries. Seasonal or recommended cakes often come with delicate infusions, aimed at those who prefer their desserts light, not overly sweet. Coffee-wise, options like sesame latte stand out, offering something different that complements the pastry selection without overwhelming it.

Given the limited seating, it’s a place where locals and visitors alike might favor take-away or a quick sit-down rather than lingering through large group gatherings. Photogenic and neat, the elegant display of pastries and thoughtful plating make it a stop for those who enjoy the visual aspect of food as much as the taste.

Overall, SU « Pâtisserie Paris » suits anyone seeking a calm moment with refined sweets in the heart of the 3rd arrondissement. Whether you’re marking a quiet birthday, a casual meet-up with friends, or simply indulging in a light-paced Parisian afternoon, the subtle charm of this pastry shop offers a distinct experience away from the rush of busier tourist spots.

The staff is so welcoming, it was my birthday so I asked for a candle and they gave it to me for free. The packaging the vibes are amazing.

I came all the way here to try their strawberry cake and it was worth it - light and not sweet. The sesame latte was something different and I really enjoyed it! The girl serving was very nice:)

Super cute shop with amazing japanese treats! Theyre not too sweet, just perfect, and incredibly pretty! I especially liked the new cake flavour, with peach and oolong tea, which the cashier so kindly recommended!

Overall pretty good but not one that I remember… pros : very good matcha and sesame latte, good place for cute pics, its location, the range of available pastries is pretty big and they ALL look delicious cons : little to no space, easily overcrowded, small shop so waiting line can be a little long if you don’t like to wait, a little overpriced, small selection of drinks (but they’re good!)
